Modeling
This step involves creating a three-dimensional geometry of the object. The shapes, surfaces, and details that make up the object are modeled. Modeling can be done from scratch or based on concept art. Modeling tools allow you to create basic shapes, and manipulate vertices, edges, and faces to achieve the desired result. For this stage of 3D model creation, as well as for all subsequent ones in our work, we use Blender software.Texturing
This step adds textures and materials to the created model, giving it color, textural feel, and appearance. Textures can include images, shaders, and other elements that determine how the surface will interact with lighting and the environment. With the help of textures, you can achieve high detail and realism of the model, while not resorting to the method of high-polygonal modeling. We use Substance 3D Painter to create high-quality textures and materials.Rigging and Skinning
Rigging is the creation of the internal structure (skeleton) of an object, which allows you to control its movements and animation.
